World Cup 2022: Sergio Aguero snubs Argentina, names two strongest teams
Former Argentina international, Sergio Aguero, has snubbed La Albiceleste and named Brazil and France as the two strongest teams in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Manchester City legend also said that the Three Lions of England could be a threat at the World Cup following their impressive display in the last Euros.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup will begin on Monday, November 21, at the Al Thumama Stadium when Senegal takes on the Netherlands in Group A, followed by hosts Qatar against Ecuador at the Al Bayt Stadium.
Speaking to Stake (via the Manchester Evening News), Aguero was quoted as saying: “Brazil and France are strong teams and England could be a threat after doing well in the Euros and the last World Cup.
“It should be an exciting tournament and I’m looking forward to watching how it plays out.”
Brazil is in Group G alongside Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon
France, meanwhile, is in Group D alongside Denmark, Tunisia and Australia/UAE or Peru.
