It was a game that saw Estevao Willian, who is set to join Chelsea next summer, make his full Brazil debut at just 17 years of age.
Another future Chelsea player, Kendry Paez, also took to the pitch, with the Independiente del Valle youngster representing Ecuador.
Chelsea are thought to be happy with Paez, who is also set to arrive in west London in 2025, and his progress.
Future Chelsea star Estevao Willian emotional
Understandably, Estevao struggled to hold back his emotions as he prepared to make his Brazil debut.
According to Argentine outlet Ole, the winger looked emotional and as if he was about to cry before coming onto the pitch to win his first senior cap for his country.
It is something that Estevao will have to get used to, as he looks set to become a regular member of the Brazil squad for years to come.
The Palmeiras winger is making such fast progress as a footballer. Estevao is already being described as a “generational talent”.
When could Estevao Willian make his Chelsea debut?
It depends on what Chelsea plan to do with Estevao once he officially joins the club in 2025.
If the Brazilian goes out on loan, then it could be a while before the Stamford Bridge faithful get to see him make his debut.
If not, then his first appearance in blue is likely to come next year. While Estevao will still be a teenager when he moves to Chelsea, there is no way that he is going to be playing with the U21s.
You can expect Estevao to be integrated straight into Enzo Maresca‘s senior squad if he does stay, with the attacker already being a full Brazil international.
Chelsea already have a lot of offensive players, though, so it will be interesting to see what the Italian does with Estevao.
