Amount:
Full tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend of £1,000 for up to 12 months.
Eligible Nationalities
This scholarship is only open to domestic students.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
- Hold an offer for a full-time master’s course at the University of Westminster for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Be a current resident in the UK.
- Possess one of the following immigration statuses:
- UK asylum seeker
- UK discretionary leave to remain (from an asylum application)
- UK limited leave to remain (from an asylum application)
- UK refugee status
- Not hold a prior master’s degree.
- Be ineligible for postgraduate student loans from Student Finance.
- Certain courses, including Postgraduate Diplomas, professional courses like RIBA pt III, and conversion courses such as Graduate Diploma in Law, do not qualify for this scholarship. The program is aimed exclusively at those pursuing a full-time master’s degree.

Applications must be submitted before 5 PM GMT on 22 November 2024. To apply, eligible students should complete the Sanctuary Scholarship application form, ensuring that all necessary transcripts are attached as PDFs. Completed applications should be sent to scholarships@westminster.ac.uk.
