Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
Academic Achievement:
- Achieve AAA or higher in A-levels or equivalent qualifications (three Level 3 qualifications only). Foundation years and other mixed qualifications are not eligible.
Residency Requirements:
You must be domiciled in the UK, including:
- England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland
- British Overseas Territories such as Gibraltar, Bermuda, and the Falkland Islands
Low Participation Areas:
Applicants must reside in areas classified under POLAR 4 quintile areas 1 and 2, the lowest participation regions for higher education.
Additional Notes:
- EU nationals domiciled in the UK can also apply.
- Students holding a prior degree or transferring to stages beyond year one are not eligible.
Application Procedure
No separate application is required. Eligible students are automatically considered based on their academic results. If you meet the criteria, the scholarship will be confirmed by October 2025.
