The NSA discloses the method by which the Binance Manager fled Nigeria.

The Office of the National Security Advisers (ONSA) has verified the departure of Nadeem Anjarwalla, Binance’s regional manager for Africa, as per reports from EPRODITY. Anjarwalla, alongside his colleague Tigran Gambaryan, was held for suspected tax evasion in an Abuja guest house until his escape on March 22, 2024.

According to Zakari Mijinyawa, ONSA’s head of strategic communication, Anjarwalla utilized a smuggled passport to flee Nigeria. Mijinyawa further stated that the individuals responsible for the custody of the suspect have been apprehended, and an investigation is underway.

“Binance has emphasized the safety of its manager as a paramount concern in response to this incident,” stated the company. It reiterated its commitment to collaborating with Nigerian authorities to address the matter.
