Romano Unveils Chelsea’s Transfer Targets: Left-Back Hunt Heats Up

Fabrizio Romano has provided insights into Chelsea’s quest for a left-back and a Premier League striker during the upcoming summer transfer window. He disclosed that Chelsea will face competition from Manchester United in addressing the left-back position but refrained from specifying potential targets for either club. Transfer speculations swirl around potential left-back signings, with Rayan Ait Nouri from Wolves being one of the names in circulation. Romano emphasized Chelsea’s interest in exploring the left-back market for promising young talent, although specific targets remain uncertain at this stage.

Regarding Jhon Duran’s rumoured move to Chelsea from Aston Villa, Romano clarified that while Duran was linked with Chelsea in January, no substantial progress was made towards a transfer. As of now, there are no concrete contacts between Chelsea and Villa regarding Duran, who is currently focused on his duties with Aston Villa.
