Romelu Lukaku could return to Chelsea for a chance to “shut people up”
Mauricio Pochettino could welcome Romelu Lukaku back into the Chelsea squad due to the striker’s “unfinished business” at the club.
Chelsea now very keen on completing £90m transfer this summer
That is according to Ian Wright, who has spoken of the possibilities for the likely next Blues coach to grant Lukaku another shot at the club following his loan term at Inter Milan.
“The word on the street is that Mauricio Pochettino wants him back,” Wright told his show.
“He’s got unfinished business here, he’s got massive unfinished business here. If I was him, I would love to know I’m going back there and I can shut a few people up. “He’s got to do it. He owes it to himself to try.”
Chelsea is looking to recruit a new striker this summer with Christopher Nkunku poised to arrive on a £ 50 million transfer from RB Leipzig.
But Wright feels the Blues may not stop there, with a deal for Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen also said to be on their radar.
“I wonder where he’s going to end up?” thought the ex-Arsenal and England striker.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if it was Chelsea. Chelsea are going to try and get him I think.”
