Former Holland manager, Marco van Basten, has encouraged Chelsea winger, Hakim Ziyech to pass on the Blues in a bid to get more game time at another club.
Van Basten said it is a pity that Ziyech isn’t getting more minutes at Chelsea, adding what is happening at Stamford Extension isn’t great for football.
Ziyech has shown up in the Premier Association up to this point this season.
The Moroccan, who was connected with a few clubs, for example, Tottenham, AC Milan, Man Joined together and Ajax in the summer transfer window has been left on the seat by new Chelsea manager Graham Potter in their last two matches.
Be that as it may, Van Basten accepts that Ziyech ought to push for a move away from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
“There is another transfer window coming up,” Van Basten told Ziggo Game.
“It is miserable and a disgrace. Ziyech is an incredible player. We need to see somebody like that, we sit in front of the television for such a player and we come to the arena.
“It is a pity for the entire of football that he is on the seat. If these sorts of players don’t get minutes, it isn’t great for football.”
He added, “There ought to be a standard that clubs can have a specific number of players.
“So they [Chelsea] have such a large number of and that makes football less intriguing. A player like Ziyech could simply play at another club and engage the fans.
“Before long, there will be groups that have 35 players, five or six of whom won’t ever play. They could succeed at different clubs.
“All contests should be decreased to eighteen clubs. Then, at that point, you play a couple of fewer matches. Then you can’t utilize more than, say, 26 players during the season.
“You see that it is conceivable. At Genuine Madrid, for instance. They simply have a typical determination and only eighteen to twenty players who generally play. So on a basic level, that ought to be conceivable.”
