Chelsea head into the latest international break in extremely fine fettle. Thomas Tuchel ‘s Blues have won their last six games in all competitions following the 2-0 win against Middlesbrough at the weekend.
With victory at The Riverside, Chelsea booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals. They also occupy third in the Premier League, whilst having reached the Champions League quarter-finals.
Whilst action on the pitch is set to take a break over the next week and a half, that does not mean we are going to be without some pretty significant updates from Stamford Bridge. Uncertainty reigns at Chelsea with the deadline for any takeover bids having come and gone. We will be bringing you the latest on any deals as and when they happen.
Away from the change in ownership, there are still some extremely significant decisions to make on the transfer front. The likes of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta could all be set to depart, with a number of players also being linked with switches to west London.

Man Utd learn Thomas Tuchel truth as Erik ten Hag decision taken in next manager search
Man United have reportedly accepted that Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is not a “viable” option in the Red Devils’ search for a new permanent manager as major Erik Ten Hag progress has been made.
The German manager had been linked with a move to Old Trafford amid uncertain times for the current European and world champions. However, as reaffirmed on a few occasions, Tuchel said that Chelsea made him happy, but did admit in another press conference that he was going to take things on a day-to-day basis.
“Take me? I hope I made it very clear that I am very happy where I am,” he first said on the interest when it was brought up in a press conference. “My first talks were with Marina (Granovskaia) and Petr (Cech) and still my talks are with these two, who are the representatives and most decisive people in the club apart from the owner.
“I was involved with them and I enjoyed it and for me, it was as of today, a perfect fit and I hope it will stay like this. I see for me personally no reason to enter any thoughts even of losing that. “It is not finished here, by far not finished. It just started and is so promising. We have a strong group and a strong club and sometimes in life and in professional life you need the luck to enter an environment where you feel comfortable and everybody else feels comfortable with you.”
