The report adds Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel considers him a first choice target to strengthen his defence going into next season.
Gallagher stance
It looks as though Conor Gallagher is part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans next season.
Ousmane Dembélé to Chelsea transfer progress
Ousmane Dembele
Ousmane Dembele, who is admired highly by Tuchel, is set to become a free agent come the end of the season and with Barca’s financial woes showing their head once again, Chelsea have the opportunity to pounce on this situation.
PSG were heavily interested in the former Dortmund star back in January but with are now apparently interested in Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe, so the Blues may have a free run to a signing for the former Dortmund attacker.
Portuguese transfer specialist Pedro Almeida, who was one of the first journalists to report on Luis Diaz’s move to Liverpool has reported this on his Twitter account: “Chelsea is seriously pushing for the signing of Ousmane Dembele as a free agent.”
