There is a possibility that Chelsea and Premier League football fans may be able to hear VAR talks during games.
According to a Daily Mail exclusive this week, Premier League teams are being canvassed over proposals to allow spectators to listen in on conversations between referees and VARs after games to demystify how and why decisions are made.
PGMOL chairman Howard Webb has been pressing for this since assuming his position in December.
Webb is believed to want to show fans why judgments are made and to clear up the misunderstanding that now surrounds difficult calls.
Should Kylian Mbappe leave PSG this summer ?
I believe this is a fantastic concept that will undoubtedly help to alleviate some of the angst around VAR calls. I don’t think you’ll ever be able to completely avoid controversy, but it will be beneficial for Blues and Premier League supporters to understand why these decisions are being made at the moment.
