Chelsea are keen to offer Juventus star Adrien Rabiot a free transfer to the Premier League in the summer.
The Frenchman has battled for playing time at Juventus this season, and he wants more assured football at this point of his career because he is not getting any younger.
Despite being one of the game’s most outstanding central midfielders, Rabiot has never quite acclimated to Italian football as many had anticipated, and Juventus are also ready to get his enormous £7M a season pay off the books.
He is out of contract at the end of the season, and with Chelsea eager to add some talent to the squad, Rabiot is apparently on the radar, especially given that he would be joining on a free transfer.
Rudy Galetti claims that Chelsea is highly interested in signing Adrien Rabiot this summer.
He also believes that Chelsea is interested in bringing in several midfielders throughout the summer season, with conversations already underway.
Should Kylian Mbappe leave PSG this summer ?
And, if you believe the words of ic football news reporter Iomie Stanley, he would now be open to a move to Stamford Bridge. ‘Rabiot is a brilliantly gifted midfielder that just hasn’t adapted to Italian football – his career hasn’t gone how many people had hoped. ‘A few seasons ago, he would not have even considered joining CHELSEA because they were a side that had far too many players in his position. But that is changing, and a lot of the club’s senior stars are leaving. ‘Rabiot is eager to restart his career and would undoubtedly be enticed by a move to the London giants.’
