This week has been relatively very quiet in terms of new transfer news throughout Europe. But there was some bad news with Ben Chilwell’s father passing away. Our condolences are with Ben Chilwell and all of his family members. Mauricio Pochettino starts his tenure at the club with the first team players returning to Cobham this week. Players playing international games have been given their own individual return dates so they can have a substantial post-season break. Pochettino will have exactly two weeks to drill his players at Cobham before flying out on July 17 for their USA tour. 1. Chelsea first team exodus continues:
CFC continue their first team exodus with a further three players leaving the club. Ruben Loftus Cheek has left his boyhood club for AC Milan to join up with his former teammates Fikayo Tomori and Oliver Giroud for a reported fee of £15 million plus add ons. Loftus Cheek penned his emotional farewell message on Instagram which was received very well by every Chelsea fan labelling him one of the best Cobham graduates after John Terry.
