Gingrich Drops a Bombshell on Pelosi’s Likely Retirement from the House.
Rumors are circulating that Nancy ‘Nasty’ Pelosi is about to step down. The departure of her staff, her earlier commitment that she would only serve two terms, her advanced age, or the weakness of her party are all signs that nasty Nancy is ready to call it a day in her political career.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich discussed the matter with Fox and Friends, in which he speculated that Pelosi will step down in 2022, and stated the following:
“I would not be shocked if there were four or five applicants at the start of the process since… it is a unique period of openness.”
The number two and three slots may also be vacated, in part because, if they lose, as I expect them to do this fall, they will be forced to confront the question of “who has the drive and charisma to get us back to a majority,” which will be a very different question than “who has the drive and charisma to keep us in a majority.”
Breaking! Nancy Pelosi is stepping Down
In addition to that, we should point out the many flaws and challenges that the Democratic Party now faces, including the fact that if it advocates the radical agenda advocated for by party standouts such as Mouth Breather AOC, it will lose badly. To put it another way, he says:
“They are dealing with serious issues. Moreover, I believe that the issues will only compound and worsen during the year — partially as a result of Biden’s actions, but also as a result of the fact that they do not really represent the nation.
They represent the left-wing of their party, and that is a very little basis from which to attempt to maintain a majority in the House of Representatives.”
He is probably correct, although lefties despise the idea. Slow Joe ran on a platform of being a centrist, but after taking office, he has shifted to the far left of the political spectrum. As a consequence, his popularity has plummeted to unprecedented levels.
If the Democrats continue along this route, they will continue to be unpopular with the majority of the country’s voters.
