Asking your wife for DNA test should be considered criminal – BBNaija Rachel.

Asking your wife for DNA test should be considered criminal – BBNaija Rachel.

Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Rachel Edward, has weighed in on the DNA controversy that has stirred discussions across the country’s social media platforms.

As per EPRODITY’s report, numerous Nigerians online have been advocating for mandatory DNA tests following recent incidents of paternity fraud.

However, Rachel expressed her views on her X handle, suggesting that insisting on a DNA test from a spouse should be deemed a criminal offense.

The reality star asserted that requesting a DNA test implies a lack of trust within the couple and implies they shouldn’t have gotten married in the first instance.

She stated, “Insisting on a DNA test from your spouse should be punishable as a criminal offense. If there’s no trust, why enter into marriage?”
