Defender Andre Wisdom has stated that he did not agree with Frank Lampard while he worked for him.

“My experience was very strange,” he remarked. The fact that it was Frank Lampard didn’t make me feel like I was watching football. I wasn’t impressed, far from it. I was expecting something that I didn’t receive.

“As a man, I expected more from him.” I don’t believe he was truthful to the squad as a whole. It was cliquey, and it felt like people were going behind others’ backs. “It had a very negative vibe to it. I’ve only had one manager yell at me, and that was Lampard, and I didn’t respond. We were hammered, I made some remarks, and he just walked in. It had nothing to do with football and everything to do with me as a person. He mentioned some extremely weird things. He claimed I move slowly and am a bully. He’s just not right for me. I don’t feel any nasty vibes, but if he was sitting here, I wouldn’t talk to him. They didn’t appeal to me; they’re probably not my type of people. On a night out, I’d probably fight him.” It’s nearly inevitable Frank Lampard will not be appointed as the next permanent manager at Stamford Bridge.
